Ole!
Sassy is the perfect description.
Tiffany's Sassy Salsa is what happens when a lifetime around Maui's first Mexican restaurant meets an entrepreneurial streak and a very good recipe.

A family tradition, carried on
Sassy is the perfect description for this vibrant, dynamic lady. Fulfilling her dream of providing healthy fresh food along with her entrepreneurial spirit, Tiffany’s Sassy Salsa became a reality.
Tiffany grew up in Maui’s first Mexican restaurant, LaFamilia, which opened in 1969 and was run by her mother, Polli — the same Polli Smith who created Makawao’s celebrated Polli’s Mexican Restaurant. Carrying on the family tradition, Tiffany combined her mother’s culinary skills with her own years of experience dishing up scrumptious vegetarian and Mexican meals for family and friends.
“What should I call it? Two of my best friends suggested ‘Sassy’, and we all laughed about it. I was quite embarrassed at first. But it hit the market and everyone said it was great.”
From her clean and festive kitchen, Tiffany created the four flavourful salsas that now carry her colourful label: the chunky classic red Sassy, the green tomatillo Slammin’ that goes so well with eggs, the smooth red Suavēthat’s perfect hot or cold, and the hot habanero Smokin’ that rounds out the collection. For those who crave something sweeter, a mango salsa is on the way.
All ingredients are prepared fresh daily, with no artificial preservatives, using fresh local ingredients.
We hope you’ll savour the refreshing flavours of Tiffany’s Sassy Salsas — and that they make you want to shout ALOHA OLE!
